This privacy policy describes how the Viator "Reply by AI" Chrome Extension ("the Extension") handles information when you use it.

Summary

The Extension runs only on https://supplier.viator.com/reviews.
Your Gemini API key is stored only on your device in the browser’s extension storage. We do not have access to it.
When you use Reply by AI, the review text and related on-screen information are sent only to Google’s Gemini API to generate a reply. We do not receive, store, or process this data on our own servers.
We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

1. Information the Extension Uses

1.1 Stored on your device (Chrome storage)

Gemini API key — If you enter it in the Extension’s options page, it is saved locally in your browser (Chrome’s extension storage). It is used only by the Extension to call Google’s Gemini API when you click "Reply by AI". The key never leaves your device except in those API requests to Google.

1.2 Read from the Viator page (only when you click "Reply by AI")

Review content — The visible review title and body in the reply modal.
Reviewer name — The name shown next to the review (e.g. username) to personalize the salutation.
Supplier/business name — The name shown in the top-right area of the Viator supplier page, used in the sign-off (e.g. "Best regards, [Your business] Team").

This information is read only from the page you are viewing and is sent only to Google’s Gemini API to generate the reply text. It is not sent to Anywhere.tours or any other third party.

1.3 What we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Your name, email, or other account details
Browsing history outside the Viator supplier reviews page
Passwords or login credentials (other than your own API key, which you optionally store locally)
Payment or financial information
Any data for advertising or analytics on our side

2. Where data is sent

We (Anywhere.tours) do not operate servers that receive or store this data. The only external service that receives data when you use "Reply by AI" is Google’s Gemini API, subject to Google’s privacy policy.

3. Permissions

The Extension requests:

Storage — To save and read your Gemini API key locally in the extension options.
Access to https://supplier.viator.com/reviews — So the "Reply by AI" button and logic run only on that page.
Access to https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/ — So the Extension can call the Gemini API with your key when you use "Reply by AI".

No other permissions are requested.

4. Data retention

On your device: Your API key remains in Chrome’s extension storage until you remove it (e.g. via the "Clear" button in the Extension options) or uninstall the Extension.
Google: Any data sent to the Gemini API is subject to Google’s data practices; we do not control Google’s retention or processing.

5. Your choices

You can clear your stored API key at any time in the Extension options.
You can uninstall the Extension at any time; this removes the Extension and any data it stored locally.
You choose when to use "Reply by AI"; no data is sent to Gemini until you click that button.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
